I was in deep depression for more than one year, including once with intention to suicide. Before going to Bergen, I had just been back from a visit to my parents in China (and I was not willing to leave for the first time). I perhaps bought the flights when I won the case against my former employer, one month before Christmas. But finally when I was back to Barcelona, I was hesitating if I really had the mood to go.
Another reason was that I had been for months without my resident document properly renovated - in procession but delayed due to the case, and my special travel authorization was about to expire the very day after my return flight (if I miss it, or if it is cancelled by any reason, I would not be able to fly back to Spain, or anywhere).
But when commenting this planned trip as a chore to a friend, I could only receive his exclamation: But how much envy!!
So I flew with Norwegian, without packaging neither wearing proper boots.
That morning I left the hostel at 8:30, down to Bergen from the mountain by bus, all dark until I got onto the tram. Then alone, with road indications hidden after a night of big snow, it took me almost one hour to find the way to Troldhaugen from the tram station. When visiting his house and surroundings, I remembered of some Scandinavian novels which begin with a body found near the water when spring comes, as it was almost impossible for me to find where there was the road, and where it was frozen water covered by snow.
PS. It was also in Troldhaugen where I saw real ELKs for the first time (I was so familiar with Elk test of Volvo, because of the same former company... Had everything just been arranged for me?)

Finally I didn't fall into the water and I decided to follow the chance of life. And I could also catch my flight at Rygee Airport after many vissicitudes. All was fine.
