Divine light

222 years ago, Mozart was buried in Sankt Marxer, two days after his death.


And Clara Haskil, probably the most notable performer of Mozart at the piano, went to heaven on the same day in 1960.

So we would never know how would be this recording if she had lived to the stereo era:


Neither would we know how it was when Haskil switched the instrument with her violin partner Grumiaux (who, many years later, also died in Brussels, and also aged 65)...
